I come from a family with a professional hairstylist. It took me a while to find a barber that listened and put in the effort to do a good job. Billy Baldwin made it happen. I have many times since brought family/friends to see him... Billy helped my cousin clean up and regain his confidence after a hard time which included weeks of living in his car. Through a lengthy visit for a haircut and a shave, Billy helped my friend and I feel connected after dealing with the isolation brought on by COVID lockdowns. Ever since I came back from California in 2015, I started having problems with hair cuts for a while. The problem with ladies who cut hair do not really know how to cut a man's hair the correct way, period. I had also went to Pipos Barber School for a while where I came across 2 good students but over time they graduated. So I decided to go to other Barber's. I had gone before to Balwins Barber Shop and stopped for a while. Then I noticed a Barber shop in the Downtown area and started going there a few times and noticed from the last hair cut she cut my hair in an area the wrong way. Been going here since I was a child. Billy and his father Mr. Baldwin are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I always get my haircut here. I've gone to a few other places over the years but there is no matching the atmosphere at Baldwin's. The Straight Razor shaving experience is also something you won't get at most hair salons.
