Reviews for Zahara African Hair Braiding

I'm rating this place a 2-Star because I booked my appointment 1 week in advance and was given an appointment time for 9:30am. I called the day before to confirm my appointment and time. When I arrived for my appointment at 9:25am there were 3 customers already there, and one stylist. Needless to say, I was not placed into a stylist chair until 12:15pm!! Nearly 3 hours after my scheduled appointment. Yes Zahara did apologize for the delay, but nonetheless, my time is valuable and I hate for it to be neglected or wasted. I had to cancel a Contract Signing because of this 3 hour delay!!!! I didn't not leave the shop until after 5pm.

I called last week and asked for small knotless braids. They said it would take 4-5 hours and it was $220. We agreed for Tuesday at 9am. I even sent a text with the details, confirming the appointment.I got there at 8:50am. Two braiders were there, each working on one client. I am assuming the head stylist had to call the girl that was supposed to do my hair to come in because she wasn’t there. The girl that was supposed to braid my hair got there at 10am, an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time. So I was there and waiting for an hour. I should have left then. They advertise that there will be at least two people working on you so you can get out in 4-5 hours. full review

Love them since 2015!!!!! I recommend this hair braiding salon because I am very tenderheaded and they are so gentle but the braids come out tight. They can do all braided hairstyles from heredity to hip hop and everything in between.
