If I could give this company 6 stars I would. After a bad experience we had with our original builder, we asked a lot of people for recommendations. We met with three companies. Adam’s company impressed us the most. We had to resurface our pool. Our pool had a lot of horrible issues going on, one major problem of which was caused by a flooding issue in our yard which made the pH in our pool hard to manage. Also the prior pool company did not put in an overflow drain (& that is an entire other story). Prior to getting our pool resurfaced we had a leak going on somewhere. The leak detection people found the leak but shared that they had pressed their thumb into the side of our pool in spots and it was soft, which it shouldn’t be. With the leaks already happening, it was time to turn our attention to getting the pool fixed. I likely drove Adam crazy trying to decide what I wanted our pool resurfacing to look like; we didn’t want to make the same mistakes we made on the original pool build. Of course he never let on if I did or not. Adam is a rare honest business person and I ALWAYS appreciated his candor. This was happening just as supplies were becoming difficult to get because of COVID; we needed to be very patient for things to happen. I wanted this one particular color; he told us he tried everywhere but couldn’t find it. I asked if we could wait 4-6 weeks and if it still wasn’t available, I would look for a second option. I was so excited that it did become available at week 4 and things started to move. All of Adam’s associates were informative and pleasant. Michelle in the office was a real gem. My husband and I had many emails back and forth (or phone calls) to her with questions. She always responded, even if it was just to tell me that she informed the person that needed to be informed and she would call or email me back with the answer as quickly as possible (and she did). If you are having a pool done for the first time, I have no doubt it will be built correctly and solidly. If you are having a pool resurfaced, be prepared for unexpected costs because of mistakes your original builder made (that you had no idea that they did – like putting electrical wires in a metal piping (which made the wiring disintegrate versus putting them in a PVC pipe). Also if you have an older pool, things have to be brought up to code. Be prepared for it to be perhaps several months especially during this time of supply issues; don’t go into this with unrealistic expectations. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. If we are still living here when it is time to resurface it again, as long as this is still Adam’s company, we will be calling them.
Paradise Pool & Spa recently completed an update on our 20 year old pool. The transformation was incredible. Adam and his Team (Steven, Les, Chris, Saul and Chris Carter) did a fantastic job!
We have used Paradise pool and Spa ever since we put our pool in 20 years ago, and they have always provided excellent, prompt service. Colby has been our pool tech for some time now, and he always does such a thorough job each week keeping an eye on the pool and alerting us if any of the equipment needs servicing. I highly recommend Paradise!
