Alex the owner is so awesome. My daughter got a bald fade with a design. Conversation was age appropitate. He made us feel so welcome. Its an older building but its clean and hasnt lost its touch. Staff is awesome knowledgeable and work speaks for itself. Affordable. Great shop for kids women and men!!! Love the oldschool feel of this place. Look forward to seeing them have success in 2019!!!

Been searching for a barber since my move to Texas. Staying in Carrollton for awhile and needed a barber. Called a few places to see if they do straight razor shaves for my head. This shop said they did so tried it out. First off Alex is truly into his trade and provides excellent customer service. He took the time and shaved my head without any Knicks or cuts. Clean shave no missed spots or patches. Awesome hot towel treatment. Shop is going through a remodel but the service is top notch.

My former barber moved to Colorado and I am picky about who cuts my hair since it is kind of "tricky". I have a fairly traditional cut, but my hair grows funny directions, plus I comb it back on the sides and top. I found Highland Barbers on Yelp using "near me". I went around 4:00 on a Friday. I felt right at home and like I had been getting my hair cut there for awhile. Glenn and Bill seem to know all the customers' names. Bill cut my hair and did a fantastic job!! I could tell he was a pro from the time I sat down. Right away, he spotted the challenging areas. I am so glad I found this shop and will definitely have Bill cut my hair in the future.
