Great place to train at. Instructions are broken down for all levels to understand. It is very much reality based and not sport oriented. Beautiful venue to train to see all the classical tradition Japanese culture and architectural features allowing one to feel fully immersed in the moment. Much come prepared to train professionally.

We have taken several self-defense classes in the past, but still felt unprepared for the reality should something happen. The catalyst that spurred us to find an instructor to help us deal with this feeling of being unprepared came in the form of an odd and startling public encounter. While the encounter was brief and nonphysical, that was only because a stranger unknowingly walked into the area which stopped the encounter as quickly as it began. It left us stressed about being in public alone (of which we had never questioned prior to that) and also left us angry. Like most women we have pepper spray, a whistle, and concealed carry.
