Do not use this company. I paid them $3,000 down to remove 3 large trees. They worked for 1 and a half days, then nothing. No contact for months unless we called and left multiple messages. Never called us, never offered a solution to their excuse of "losing their employee". The longest conversation consisted of Derek screaming and cursing at me over the phone. Very unprofessional. Run away fast.

We used this small family company last year to take down a beast of a tree and grind the stump. We had a fun situation because they couldn’t drive their equipment in our yard without it being dry or they would tear up our yard. They were so considerate and planned around a very rainy season. And it took a couple weeks but eventually it all got done! They understood from us we really weren’t in a hurry so the time and repeated visits were NOT an issue for us. They were amazing as people, called ahead, considerate, clean, down-to-earth, and the cost was among the lowest of our quotes and extremely reasonable. I would use them again in a minute.

Do not use this tree service!!! Only Derrick is insured.
I signed a contract with D and K tree service to take down a large oak tree. I’ve verified their insurance. They came out to cut the tree down. Unbeknownst to me they hired an independent tree cutter to cut the tree down that was not insured. When a tree limb fell on my chimney causing over $10,000 worth of damage Derek’s insurance company would not cover it because only Derek is the only person covered under the policy. I had to turn it into my personal insurance and the only thing D and K would do is take $1000 off for my deductible on future work!
