“Our mother’s service was really just so beautiful. I didn't know what to expect but Donahue’s really did an outstanding job with the photos and video montage and flowers (mostly all white and purple)--it felt more vibrant and it really suited Valerie!

All of her favorite items were also captured in a beautiful and thoughtful guest book we have been enjoying looking through as well since the service.

Their team provided a warm and special day for our family despite our sadness and we are tremendously grateful for their excellent services.“

“My mother's review of the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home after my father's funeral:
The Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, particularly, Andy Klotzbach, went above and beyond to help our family create the most beautiful, meaningful and touching tribute to the memory of my husband and the father of his eight children. They arranged for an Army Honor Guard; a twenty-one gun salute by the American Legion; and remarkably, even managed to provide a Dixieland Jazz Band to play the music my husband loved growing up in New Orleans. He was accompanied to his final resting place to the strains of "A Closer Walk With Thee" and "When The Saints Go Marching In". It was a remarkable Celebration of Life for a very remarkable man.
With Sincerest Gratitude,
Mrs. Raymond M. Catton“

“A Funeral Home is one of these unexpected businesses, better yet, institutions, where people have to go when the unexpected happens. No one likes to think about the end of life and yet it is about the only permanent thing in life. Finding a good funeral home is key to the grieving process as well as ensuring a good departure for the loved one. My partner's mum passed suddenly on the return from our vacation to my mountain home. A shocker to everyone. The way our society has it scheduled, the process of grieving has to be done hand-in-hand with the business transactions that accompany dealing with an undertaker. That can add a substantial burden to the family, especially in the many cases where the funeral director is less than reputable. My partner's family went with this funeral director through a recommendation and it was a great recommendation for sure. John handled every detail with courtesy and aplomb, besides a welcoming serenity that made the business process second-nature. From assembling the viewing in compliance with every family dictate and wish, to scheduling the funeral details and post-funeral dinner, every detail seemed seamless. Frankly, I hope that I don't have to deal with another mortuary director. But in this case, everyone felt at ease through the demonstrated competence of the funeral director, which made the mourning process much more bearable. Kudos to him.“

“I am fascinated by old cemeteries ever since I started taking pictures for Maps. Cumberland did not disappoint. That old red house looked interesting. Be careful pulling out because of the traffic.“

“This cemetery has potential to be a beautiful cemetery if someone would take care of it more. It's a very peaceful and calming place. They should do flea markets here.“
