“Update:2023Our son is now a Junior in high school and college prep and other studies have taken over his schedule. He will need to pause his formal music education for awhile, but the time spent at Chestnut Hill Music Academy was worth it!We are so thankful for the many years of dedication by his instructors and for making music education fun.He can now play the drums, guitar, a little piano, and recently added Tuba and handbells as part of his continuing music participation in school. He has recently joined his 2023 class induction into the Nation Honor Music Society!Thank you Mickey for your leadership and passion for teaching music, and we wish many more years of success to the Chestnut Hill Music Academy community.------------2018Our son loves his music lessons from Chestnut Hill Music Academy! His teacher is patient and knows how to keep our son's interest in music. He actually enjoys practicing because the songs are both challenging and fun to play. Even if not always easy to listen to :-). We receive great value for the lessons, and make-up sessions are flexible. After sticking with his instrument, he now has the confidence to play in both school and church orchestras. We would highly recommend this music school for all ages!“

“My daughter has been taking classes and lessons at Settlement going on 5 years now. She’s also in the youth choir. They offer financial aid and run a preschool program. The teachers are top notch and the school as a whole provides a nice sense of community. Though a lot of the instruction is classical oriented—and that may be a newcomer’s takeaway after looking through the website, my daughter plays folk and rock mostly. Anything goes, just let them know what you want/need.“

“We received excellent service and a good sense of humor from the principal. We arrived 10 minutes to closing and we were able to sample the amp and obtain the cable and whatever we needed. We completed the purchase 20 minutes past closing and we're happy.“
