I had my baby on April 29th here and the nurse (Mackenzie) who was there with me all day while I was being induced/ giving birth, was amazing. she was so attentive and caring, talked me through all of my contractions and made me feel at ease the whole time. she made the birth of my daughter even more special. I will never forget nurse Mackenzie and everything she did for me that day. Her presence was calming and reassuring and I could not have asked for a better nurse to help me through such a special, vulnerable time.
I went to their facility in Irwin for a mammogram. They charged me 308 upfront. I received paper work from my insurance that they paid the claim and my responsibility was 0. To this day they haven't reimbursed me Exela health had made several mistakes with billing in the past. They sent me a bill for service that was already paid. They asked me to prove that I already paid it. I had to drive to my bank to get a copy of the canceled check and mailed to them. Another time they sent a check for 75 dollars for and overpayment. When I deposit the check it bounced. They re incompetent. I am switching doctors so IO don't have to deal with this organization again.
if I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately that isn't an option. although the staff were incredibly nice I waited over four hours to been seen. Im a type one diabetic and was at the ER for an entirely different reason, and yet when my blood glucose was above where it should have been they waited four hours to come to me to tell me everything else was fine. When I had personally already dealt with the issue of my glucose being high upon recognizing hours prior, did they think I was going to sit there for four hours and not fix an issue that very easily could be dealt with? This is type one diabetes 101. I understand things are busy, but wouldn't you want to free up a bed faster by letting me go and recognizing this issue could have been dealt with in an hour? it does not take almost five hours to get blood work, and have it come back to you. just an overall eye opening and pathetic experience.
