“The team completed the project on time and in a professional manner and with attention to detail. I will Carlos again for my next project.“
“I hired Debra Wilde to help us (me and my brother-in-law) decorate and furnish my apartment because of her excellent reputation. She guided us through the design process warm-heartedly and carefully, including and conferring with us at every step of the way. With a steady hand and an artistic eye.
The result was great. From the cozy and inviting living room to my stylish bedroom, the colors are impeccably tuned and furniture is beautifully configured. The arrangement of the photos and paintings is of gallery quality.
I recommend Debra most highly. My apartment is a lovely and calming place in which to spend time and looks elegant. If you want to work with a talented interior designer with the eyes of an artist, engage Debra Wilde.“
“We worked with The Remodel Group (TRG) on the addition of a primary suite (bedroom, bathroom, closet). The project was about 400 sqft in total and expanded our home from a 2/1 to a 3/2. Our experience with TRG was great! From the initial consultations, to the renderings, to breaking ground the TRG team was clear on next steps and what they needed from us. They were transparent on pricing and talked us through options to fit our budget without pushing us. Once we broke ground it was a whirlwind of activity but it didn't feel overwhelming because TRG was great at communication. Their timelines were pretty spot on so we knew what to expect and when and if we had any questions the project manager was just a phone call away. The final addition is amazing! Everything looks and feels so good and we are so glad we did it. People don't believe that we got this done on time and on budget and with no hassles but TRG made it happen. We'd be happy to work with them again.Services: Bathroom remodeling“

“Bry and the team at Arcadia Staging consistently stage my listings beautifully. I appreciate her expertise and willingness to work within my clients’ constraints when needed. I always receive compliments from my sellers as well as from buyers and agents who come through the property. I highly recommend Arcadia Staging and plan to use them in my future listings. 5 stars all around!“
“Called them 02/09/24 late afternoon they got right back to with a email address that could pictures of the broken cam lock. bought closets about fifteen years ago . Sending cam locks out today they were very helpful.“
“Straight Line did our kitchen remodel and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. They guided us through the process every step of the way from design to the very last finish detail. Workmanship is top notch, and the staff and crew are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. All our concerns were addressed, communication was great, it's everything we could have hoped for. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.“
“I love my new kitchen! Let’s Remodel came in and replaced everything except a couple of appliances which we reused, and our new kitchen works wonderfully. We did not change much from the previous layout except for getting a complete range instead of a cooktop and separate oven, but that change gave us more useful storage in the pantry cabinets. They didn’t have to move any walls, but otherwise gutted the whole thing, including removing soffits.
Pros:
• Pavel and Polina and their entire staff are lovely people and nice to work with.
• Both Pavel and Polina respond well to texts and were pretty easy to get ahold of.
• Polina is a great designer. She listened to our wants and needs and on the first try presented us with beautiful options for our cabinets, floor, and backsplash.
• We were able to live in the house while the remodel took place.
• The workers shuffled our furniture around as necessary for us. This was a great help.
• The finishes all came out beautifully.
• Removing our old square ceiling lights and replacing them with cans has been wonderful, and they did a great job of texturing the ceilings to match the existing brocade ceiling.
• They were able to install the fancy copper hood we bought.
• They managed to install the luxury vinyl plank floor throughout the house with no transitions. Beautiful!
• We had to replace some door and window frames which are stained throughout the house. They matched the stain perfectly.
• They knew the perfect thing for our corner cabinet. The whole thing pulls out for easy access.
Challenges:
• Pavel has a great crew, but he himself was not on site as often as we would have liked. This resulted in our catching a few errors that we then had to call about. Fortunately, we caught them before much work was lost. And there were only a few. The errors were cheerfully corrected.
• They got off schedule at one point and the schedule was not revised online to reflect the new reality.
• The job took a couple months longer than originally planned (partly our fault – see POD below, and partly theirs – finishing touches and our difficult hood).
Suggestions for you:
• Rent a POD. Our job included the new kitchen, new floors throughout the house, and painting all the walls. If it had just been the kitchen, we might have been able just to use the garage to store stuff. Maybe. But having to pack all the books and décor items, really maxed out the garage. And we forgot to account for the storage of construction materials in the garage as well. This really made it hard on the workers shuffling our furniture around. If we had rented a POD, we’d have been able to get some of the furniture out of the house and there would have been less shuffling. Pavel told us that the furniture shuffling really slowed them down, which makes total sense.
• Pay attention when Polina shows you all the fancy inserts for cabinets and drawers. You’ll want some.“
“Incredible selection & pricing! Top notch customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We worked with Patrick Donaldson and Sarah Hurt at Harka on an extensive kitchen remodel that involved moving a structural wall. They provided valuable feedback on various design options, got us in touch with an excellent builder (Hayes Brothers), and served as an interface with the structural engineers during the construction phase. We are extremely pleased with the result.“
“We had the pleasure of working with Garrison and Lindsey on a kitchen and island and outdoor remodel. We have known Garrison personally for many years and had heard a lot about his business so we were excited to get his creativity on our project. Lindsey and Garrison were a pleasure to work with. They were good listeners and came back to us with creative and doable ideas and pushed back on us when needed but also brought new ideas to the table that we had no considered. They were detailed orientated, met all timelines, kept to budget and were flexible with us when needed. They delivered the details needed for our general contractor to run seamlessly with the project I would highly recommend them without hesitation and with a full-throated endorsement for any design project, large or small. The team there are really lovely people who are true design professionals“
“The piece I ordered came well wrapped and in perfect condition. It was even better in person that expected! Ordering process was easy as well.“
“I am a 70-year old retired lawyer, chemist, and CEO. I have hired and fired hundreds of people. I am impatient, pushy, and demanding because this is how I have built multiple successful businesses. We had Mari Design install motorized Lutron shades and drapes when we moved to the South Waterfront-Portland eleven years ago. They were not the cheapest, but they came highly recommended...so we selected them to do the work. Very good decision. These people know their business. They did a super job on the installation, and we have had zero problems over the last eleven years. Recently I made a mistake, and we had to reprogram one of the shades. One of their technical experts helped me over the phone and we successfully reprogramed one of the motorized shades. Mari Designs would not let me pay them. If you are making a long-term investment in your home, these folks are really solid. They are responsive, professional, and their products are first-class. I do not participate in social media and have never been on Facebook, Instagram, or the other waste-of-time garbage. But I know good work and high integrity. Those folks are the best.“
“Imagine Home Staging and Design is exceptional!
Lisa and her team were full of warmth, life, and passion. They created 10 beautiful spaces in my home. Well in advance of the staging, a very detailed contract was provided that fully itemized what would be included in each space, how long the service would be, and a price included for extra time. A contractor’s contract tells you everything about their service. Details!
The process was pleasant and easy. The team arrived promptly. I can’t wait to refer to friends and family, and plan to use Imagine Home Staging for design services in the future.
Great value, excellent communication. Out of all the positive things I can say about this service, the one that stands out is that me, and my home, were treated with the utmost respect. Think about that! Her team made ME feel welcome and appreciated in my home ??“
“Jenni and her team completely transformed our house from a "cold and dark" color and design scheme to bright and modern and my wife couldn't be happier. Our house was completely and newly remodeled when we purchased it in 2020, but we realized later the color schemes, lighting, cabinets, tile, countertops, etc. were dark and cold. My wife didn't even know what she wanted and Jenni's team had an exhaustive questionnaire and several discussions to come up with a proposal. Even after seeing all the materials and color schemes we couldn't visualize completely but when it was finished it was stunning. My wife now feels like this is her house as opposed to living in someone else's house. This interior design included the kitchen, dining, living, front bathroom, master bedroom and bathroom and lighting. She prescribed all new custom furniture, fabrics, carpet, area rug, lamps, overhead lights, mirrors, etc. Pretty much everything. We learned to make this work best you have to not only embrace the designer's overall look and feel but the detailed fabrics and materials and realize everything ultimately flows together to a beautiful finished product. We initially decided not to do our two guest bedrooms and office but after seeing the rest of the house we are now using Jenni's services to redesign them. It takes time and patience, especially in a supply constrained world, and in our case we had to live temporarily with the inconvenience of not having access to our kitchen, living room and master bedroom and bath but it was all worth it when we saw the finished design!“
“Bright has been a pleasure to work with over the years. They are fantastic designers, provide great feedback and communication to clients, and the finished product is always above and beyond our expectations!“
“We have worked with Wendy for over a decade and always a professional and a delight to work with. Her talent for design and her ability to execute is top notch .“
“Devon made a hinged mirror for us to cover an electrical panel box. It is exactly what we were looking for - the quality, craftsmanship, and installation are perfect. He and Denise are a pleasure to work with, and looking forward to working with them again!“
“This shop's location is actually at 17100 Pilkington Rd. in Lake Oswego not far from here. Their shop is decorated with fine flowers, containers and gifts. I could spend some time in this shop and see something I didn't see from another visit. They have so much stuff! The designs are unique and I'd prefer them over anyone else. Check them out! Thanks, Artistic Flowers!“
“Review for Sheila Botke, Avalon Interior Designs March 2014 By Stephanie T., retired teacher I bought my 1955 "mid-century modern" house in SE last July, and immediately began a lot of much-needed updating and remodeling. A few weeks later, when I was about to decide on my paint colors, an acquaintance suggested I might want to meet with a really good interior designer he knew named Sheila Botke - just for a short consultation. I kept putting off calling her. I guess I was feeling a little bit nervous and intimidated since I'd never worked with a designer before. I just couldn't imagine myself flipping through books of brocade fabric swatches with a designer -- choking at prices I would never be able to afford. Well, happily, it turned out that my fears were unfounded. I ended up feeling totally at ease with Sheila and actually having a really good time with her. She's not only exceptionally good at what she does, but she's also just a super sweet person who's a lot of fun to be around. She has a wide variety of resources to draw from. She can show you beautiful samples of anything you're needing, from blinds and curtains, to rugs and paint colors. I loved the interesting "outside the box" ideas and samples she came up with. Very creative and cool! She knows all the great retail and wholesale sources as well, and will shop with you for tile, lighting, couches... whatever you need. Having a designer that's well-connected in the trade community is a big plus. I used her hardwood floor guy and her painter and can't say enough about the quality of their work. Nothing fell through the cracks, thanks to Sheila's diligence. She had my back the entire time my remodel was going on -- catching others' mistakes and putting out small fires before they turned into real issues. She made time for me no matter how hectic her schedule was, always making sure I had what I need when I needed it! Wow. Pretty impressive. Knowledgeable about code as well as colors, she has a discerning eye for detail. I just can't imagine finding a better designer than Sheila. She's a natural at what she does. She's got the gift of being able to look at a space, indoors or out, and know just how to transform it into something that REALLY works. I call it Sheila Magic. ;-) Totally professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a real joy to work with...that's Sheila. Don't hesitate to call her and see for yourself.“
