Do NOT buy a home from this builder. My building has severe defects and we are suing them for it. They don’t care about their buildings because for any mistakes they make you as an owner have to pay for it, and they know that. Don’t trust them with anything.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this builder to think twice. We purchased a unit in their development, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. The construction is riddled with defects, and to make matters worse, the builder has been incredibly unresponsive and dismissive about our concerns.
We discovered major waterproofing failures in the underground garage that are now leading to structural concerns, but instead of taking responsibility, they’ve passed the burden of a $70,000 special assessment onto the homeowners! Yorkdale Village Townhomes, @ 877 Wilson ave,north York , phase 2, 100 units, this condo townhouse was built by Decade Homes on 2016, within few years during warranty period, Decade Homes didn’t fix the major repairs when we claimed by our current condo corporation. Special assessments from engineering firms ,, all owners had to pay each 70000 within two weeks or building will collapses, total estimated 80,00000 repairing cost, water leaking to underground garage and walls started cracking, products and workmanship failure…in my opinion you have to be careful when you are buying condos from such companies…my whole family bought from this builder so I bought too....read full review
