Before I started working with John I never had any real guidance or coaching in any fitness aspect of my life so... I wasn't sure what to expect. My biggest concern was being judged for my (lack of) fitness and also fitting a routine into a fairly busy schedule.I was relieved when I started working with John that there was no judgment. He was upfront with where I was lacking but presented it in a matter-of-fact fashion without judging me for letting myself get there. John takes a consultative approach and doesn’t adopt a “one size fits all” attitude. He works hard to develop a unique program that is tailored to your personal fitness goals. He works hard to put his clients at ease and is not judgmental in the least. He varies the routines every couple of weeks to prevent things from becoming stagnant and to encourage continued progression. If a particular exercise is too difficult, he is able to modify the routine on the fly. He is constantly checking on his clients throughout the session to ensure they are not experiencing any injuries or over exerting themselves. My training experience with John has been great! He has helped push me while also being encouraging and positive. I can ask him anything and he will give me responses that make me want to be successful. If I’m having pain in a certain area, he will find a substitute exercise to do so I don’t get hurt any worse. I really appreciate how flexible he is with scheduling too because I am such a busy person. I have never been one to enjoy working out but he has made it fun while also continuing to push me through it. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a personal trainer.
