I was Jon’s first appointment ot the day. He was just opening and was busy just getting things going. He wasn’t so busy where he couldn’t talk to me. He was actually doing most of the talking. Lol what he was doing was getting to know me asking me questions about myself. Nothing intrusive or offensive more like questions a friend would ask. When we were done talking I felt like I was talking to a friend and was calm and confident I was in good hands. The tattoo I had done was only my second one and it was extremely detailed. It came out perfect! Not only do I have a tattoo that I am extremely proud of I made a new friend

I had an amazing experience at Vessel Tattoo with artist Jon Davis. This was my first tattoo after being recommended by a good friend. The studio had a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and the whole process was smooth. I'm thrilled with my tattoo and would highly recommend Vessel Tattoo and Jon Davis to anyone looking for a great tattoo experience!Edit: Vessel is a 140 mile drive (one way) & this was obv. a couple sessions. Still wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks again!

So I've now gotten two tattoos done by Dan, and I've got an appointment set up for a third. Not only does he do amazing work (his skill at blending colors is the best I've seen), but I'm a socially awkward weirdo, and he was absolutely amazing about it.The shop itself is also super nice; it's got a very relaxed, laid-back vibe; not like, sloppy or anything, but just very casual. All the artists have been super nice while I've been there, and they all chat back and forth, and it's just super laid-back and nice.Again, because I feel it's worth mentioning: Dan's color blending is absolutely phenomenal.
