My wife lucked out at Home Depot to connect with this contractor who was entirely above board about what to expect for how much, etc. I've read other review by a neighbor who seemingly had an axe to grind with neighbors and focused it to do damage to Mister Carbiere's character for steering clear of a neighborhood dispute. I strongly suspect I'd steer clear right along with him. We had a deck built and were happy enough with it to have Carbiere Construction install a Bay window. That went well too, and we have just hired him to replace a deck on our summer property and renovate a screen porch. We've had nothing but pleasant dealings with this outfit... read full review

Carbiere Construction-Last year I made calls for deck and patio estimates after i took suggestions here (Nextdoor)... I called every name given and out of that list of 5 people only a few called back. After finding what I thought was a miracle find this guy Stefanus(he lives 3 houses down from us) after several back and forth calls tells us he refuses to do the work? So I question him I want to know! He says because we live in the same neighborhood and because our neighbors want us out (another scary neighborhood story for another day) he won't advertise being here out of fear of them turning against him?
