With the arrival of spring and the warm weather I started seeing some winged insects in my home and worrying they might be termites I called an exterminator. The operator who I spoke to at the well known franchise said they would "Get back to me". Asking around I was told a local pest control company; Empire in Ossining N.Y. was prompt to respond, efficient and reasonably priced. Soon after my call the owner Longo and an assistant, Stu, were on the premises. I was relieved to find the insects were flying ants and not termites. Called multiple times and e-mailed; never heard back at all. Not even sure if they are still in business.
