Somers NY Branch. A client,whose account had sufficient funds,gave me a check. Dahani (the supposed GM) cashed it only after asking for my ss#,drivers licence,phone number,address etc which every other bank requires 2 forms of ID. Then after cashing it and I was going home wanted me to return as she ' forgot' to copy my D/L. The next week she demands my living address. then she tells me she is going to "escalate the matter further"!!! then she tells me the 'girl who cashed it was new and should not have cashed it"...liar!! She WAS the 'girl'. There was sufficient funds. this is a very rude careless poorly managed bank!!! worse yet they give you a 914 277 4619 number that CANOT receive in coming calls!!!!

DO NOT TRUST CITI WITH YOUR MONEY! The company closed my savings account for no reason and tried to justify that "as outlined in the Citibank Client Manual for Consumer Accounts, Citibank reserves the right to close an account at any time and for any reason, with or without cause". They then refused to return my own money in that account for over 7 months even after numerous attempts with their customer service. I was only able to get my money back after I filed a complaint to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Absolutely the worst banking experience of my life and shameful for a bank to put any customer, who depends on them to access their money, through it. I might still be left empty handed if it was not for CFPB so everyone with issues should file a complaint here: www.consumerfinance.gov

citibank provides zero support there are no live reps to ever speak to. my card was declined when i was a mere 75miles from my home in a grocery store. no one ever answered. i left the grocery in the store to melt and went home to the bank who said this seemed like a suspicious use since i never bought anything in that area! $75. you can never get a live person
