“I am so honored to be the first to write a review for Yan Yan Beauty Spa of Bayside, Queens. On a tranquil Sunday evening, I received a phenomenal 60-Minute Relaxing Bodywork Massage with Essential Oil and Hot Stone Treatment. Ruby and the entire staff were so nice, decent, polite, transparent, and ethical. Parking was very easy as this part of Bell Boulevard is not as close to the restaurants and neighborhood that can be chaotic. Further, their business hours are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. They are generous, very welcoming and extremely educated. Although I am leaving five stars with no hesitation, I do feel they should not suggest how much of a tip should be left in writing on an outside chart as it creates a potentially uncomfortable. Apart from that, they really go out of their way to give an outstanding massage that addresses target areas of tension. I did not see that sign a few months back.“

“Solid spot for a massage. Now that my favorite local place closed, I've been trying new businesses to see if I can find my replacement. I did like my first visit as this place was very neat, clean and inviting. The rooms were dimly lit and immaculate. Towels were plush and soft. I'll return again just to see if another masseuse is better and to see if it's consistent. Lily was my masseuse this visit and she was well versed in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. At first she was a little chatty which I didn't mind - getting to know me/her, always makes the visit go much more smoothly. The best part of the one hour massage besides the pricing, was that Lily made good use of the hot stones during my massage. Every person uses the stones differently and she was really good with using them. She had rolled them up and down my back and concentrated more on my lower back which I was experiencing pain (from sitting too much I'd imagine). She worked on my knots and my lower back for a good half hour before busting out the hot stones. She also did a good job with cracking my knuckles. Guess my hands were so stiff from all the typing I do. My only issue with the visit was her having to leave the room - twice. Both times to get a hot towel/the stones, etc. I would have preferred things in the room so that there's little interruption during the treatment. She followed instructions well and was very pleasant. Also, one note - the room I was in had a viewing window in the door. Not 100% sure why they designed it like that but I know why I didn't like it. For privacy reasons as I need to strip down to my skivvies, it lacked privacy in the event if someone had walked by. I huddled into a corner of the room to get undressed and dressed but all the while nervous to be seen. That's a little stressful in itself.“

“Came across this incredible massage spot thanks to Groupon and its awesome deals. Which by the way, they're always happy to price match! This place is a gem. Not for its location, not for the vibes. It's a straightforward massage spot without the whistles and bells. You call, you make an appointment, you show up, you get the best massage ever. We made a same day reservation for a Monday, I think it must of been a little on the slower side so we were able to get right in. We got a couples massage and our girls did a full body workout on every single limb. Literally from our cranium to the last little toe. What a head to toe experience. This 60 minute hot stone massage had the perfect pressure, speed but also felt very thorough and not rushed. We felt so relaxed and throughout the next few days our bodies felt recovered. It's exactly what you want from a massage. My girl Lily was incredible! Excited to go back and get a reflexology or even a gua sha add on! Can't wait!“
