“I received a business card from someone recommending the services of Compassionate Cleanout Services. My call was answered on the second ring by Lisa. I explained my situation and asked her for guidance. I asked about her coming to my location to assess the job - she and her partner Steve came the same day, shortly after calling. They are located in Painted Post so they are convenient to the area. Steve used to be a professional mover in NYC - he’s very knowledgeable in the process. There is an hourly charge on top of the cost of the vehicle to remove your items and cost of dumping them at the transfer station. I did not make any attempt to call another company - after meeting Lisa and Steve I knew they were all I needed. We set up my appointment for two days later and got to work early morning. Steve and his son came to do the lifting/loading - they move quickly, efficiently, effectively, with precision and without causing any damage to the property. My billing was completed and emailed to me the following day. The process was not overwhelming like I thought it would be - the business is truly compassionate.“
