James is really great. He’s talented and takes time to listen so that he understands what you want, but also gives great feedback in regards to the type of hair you have, the shape of your face, and what might suit you best. I’m so happy to have been referred to him. And the salon itself is relaxing and comfortable with great music. Highly recommended!

This was my first time, and I will definitely be returning. I wear a pixie cut and have been looking for a new salon and stylist. I didn't want to continue going to a barber but also didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. I did a lot of searching and found MJ Rose and was able to book an 8am Saturday appointment (love this time slot). Sarah and Annabelle (their beautiful rescue dog) welcomed me and Sarah spent time talking about what I was looking for. The cut was spot on, and I also appreciated the time she took explaining different products and her recommendations for using them. Came to James before my wedding to cut my hair and dye it back to it's natural color and loved everything about it! Easy, relaxed and super quick. Made my return appointment yesterday for my birthday to cut my hair off and was extremely excited about the end result! Showed James one inspo picture and got exactly what I wanted. Will be back for all my needs and maybe even got my husband to come for his!
