“I moved to Henderson, Nevada in November of 2019 and on the top of my “To Do List” was “find a good hair stylist.” As I was getting tired of Googling for information on the best hair salons in Henderson, I came upon High Maintenance Hair Salon. What caught my attention was Rachael’s (the proprietor of this salon) statement about giving the client her undivided attention throughout the appointment, not letting any distractions come between her and the client, not even a ringing phone! Now, that’s what I call real commitment to “service excellence”. I have been a happy and satisfied client of Rachael since the beginning of 2020. Indeed, Rachael delivers what she promises and then some. I recall one instance when she asked me to bring an empty bottle to the salon for my next appointment. To my surprise, she created a formula of a mixture of hair color and hair conditioner and gave me instructions on how to use it as hair conditioner after washing my hair. The purpose is to extend the life of the hair color effect between each hair coloring appointment. That was a good example of Rachael’s creative thinking on how to enhance the way she delivers her hair coloring service. Like she said, she listens and learns as much as she can on the initial client consultation. The clients’ expectations, hair color and hair style preferences, etc., are in her notebook. Now and then, I would get compliments on my hair color or hair cut from friends and total strangers! Aside from being a happy and contented client of High Maintenance Hair Salon, I have great respect for Rachael’s professionalism, dedication to her craft and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for her clients, especially during challenging times of the Covid pandemic. She is a sole proprietor who runs her business like a big company and delivers top-notch service. I am so glad to have her in my corner for all my hair maintenance needs!! Thank you, Rachael!“

Tracy requires absolutely no instruction, I just lay down and ask my brows to be groomed, she is the expert after all. Tracy is also extremely knowledgeable about skin appearances and provides personalized recommendations, so much so that I have recent begun facials which have had a drastic impact on my overall skin health. Without a doubt, unless Tracy moves an unreasonable distance away or retires, I have no intentions of seeking care elsewhere. Overall, it is a wonderful, relaxing experience and one I would recommend with confidence to anyone else.“

“This salon is a vibe, and I am surprised I have not come here before. The owners take great pride in their work and will greet you in such a friendly way. Every stylist "means business,"and they take pride in what they do. Everyone in the establishment was friendly. The aesthetics are simply awesome! It's an open, cool environment, so contemporary, yet vintage classic at the same time. I never thought I'd see such a flattering setup with mirrors and workspace! I highly recommend JENN to anyone if you want to trust a stylist to give you sound advice on hair products, haircuts and color. If you want a warm, friendly, positive soul to talk to who listens to you, JENN is also the one. I had my hair done with her originally at another salon and her professionalism convinced me to follow her to the new salon. She took time with my hair. She took time to get it right not because of anything I said because I love her work but because of her keen eye for detail. Spending time with Jenn is very enjoyable as well. Not many would take that time to go over things with you and let you know that they want to make it completely right for you, that they want you to come back. I have not run across that type of attitude in a very long time. JENN will go over pricing with you, and it makes sense. When you walk out of the salon, out of Jenn's chair, you will know your hair was done, you will have something to work with and you will feel like there was no waste of time or money. My hair and scalp feel great and I get bleach on my hair so we all know that can be a challenge, and Jenn overcomes that challenge. I wish Jenn nothing but continued success at Liquid Salon, and I wish everyone at Liquid continued success!“

“Rory has always done a great job on my hair but I truly keep going back because of the way she is with my children. One of my sons has very sensitive sensory issues and panics getting his haircut, to the point of having to leave mid haircut before. But Rory is the best to have ever worked with him. He stays calm and comfortable the whole time and she is so patient when he starts to get nervous. She never makes an issue of it and even makes ME feel more comfortable being there. If you have a child with any sort of specific needs, she will meet you where you’re at.“

“Since moving to Vegas several years ago I have been in search of a stylist that knows how to cut layers and textures into hair well. I saw Michelle Giddens on Yelp and thought the pictures she had on her post of layered cuts were pretty good so I thought I would give her a try. For reference I have fine, straight hair that is medium length which can be challenging to layer correctly. Michelle did a phenomenal job, blended the layers well, and was very knowledgeable in her techniques. She frequently asked what my preference were throughout the cut to make sure it was tailored to what I wanted....so happy that I found her:)....would give her 10 stars if I could!“
