I asked if she would be willing to host my daughter’s 7th birthday party and even though she’d never had a party in her space before, she agreed and was so incredibly helpful! She brainstormed with me to come up with a plan for the party, fully embraced our Taylor Swift theme and went above and beyond. The space looked great, the kids were having a blast and their parents reported that they couldn’t stop taking about how much fun they’d had! “My sister and I did a makeup class with Alex and she was absolutely amazing! Such a special human! She was so patient and thorough and I learned so much. I really came away knowing how to do my makeup with special tips and tricks I never would have known without her expert guidance. They don’t try to sell you on anything (although we did end up purchasing quite a few of their beautiful products and brushes because they looked so good!) and try to use the makeup you already own as much as possible. I love that they give you a handout at the end to help you remember everything you’ve learned. I did my makeup this morning and it looked just as good as when I did it in the studio. I can’t recommend this class enough! It’s such a fun and informative experience to do with a friend. Definitely above and beyond anything I’ve ever learned in a social media video, because you actually do it there with the artist and she gives you on-the-spot feedback.
