Samantha was a pleasure to work with, her attitude and quick responses allowed us to land the property we were wanting before it hit the market. The follow up to closing was also fantastic with gentle reminders to us when we needed to trigger the next item on the to do list. She also was in the area and able to help us when we weren't able to get to the property ourselves and fully trusted her communicating with the individuals (survey, tank sweep, etc)We would highly recommend her and her team.

As first time home buyers you would think that the Haslett Team would have our best interest in mind. Not the case AT ALL. In the height of the Covid house buying frenzy we put in a bid 35,000 over asking price and Nicole said "would you forgo an inspection?" Of course, thinking she had our best interest in mind, we agreed. Stupid, right? I know. We trusted her though since she was a professional. Why why why would a realtor ask us that? Again first time home buyers here and we know nothing and trusted her. Turns out the house was collapsing in on itself and even her husband said "had I been the one to show you the house, I would have told you to walk right out". That was number one. Fast forward to January 2021, we bought a home in Newton. A 120 year old home. We decided to sell this past summer and during inspection it turns out we had a 1000 gallon oil tank under my garage. HOW WAS I SOLD A HOME WITH A THOUSAND GALLON TANK!?! HOW WAS I NOT ADVISED TO HAVE A TANK SWEEP?!! Why were no OPRA's pulled!?! I didn't even know what a OPRA or tank sweep was until our buyers lawyer and agent brought it up. All of realtors I've consulted with since this fiasco have all said this is basic real estate 101 and they couldn't believe she never requested a sweep. It ended up costing us over 10,000 dollars to have the tank removed. If we hadn't had it removed the house would have never sold since there was now knowledge of a tank. I've contacted Nicole and of course Nicole blames everyone else besides herself for her negligence of not requesting a tank sweep. DO NOT use them unless you have a bunch of extra time and money you'd like to waste. And make sure you ask for a tank sweep because she won't.

Nicole and Adam are a true dynamic duo! They each bring their own talents and knowledge to the table and they are the people you want to work with when you're shopping for a home. We faced a really difficult market with a limited supply of homes and extremely competitive offers to go up against. Despite this, Nicole and Adam were there to guide us through the process and keep us positive that we would find our dream home. They were extremely patient during our search and helped us narrow down both what we wanted in a home and the area we wanted to live in. They also helped us put together competitive offers for the homes we liked in a timely manner. When we finally found "the one," Nicole and Adam not only helped us put in the winning bid, they built great rapport with the seller's agent, and even helped us produce quotes from contractors for work that we found necessary. They also had referrals for everyone from home inspection to mold removal. We were really happy with everyone they recommended. They made what is normally a very stressful process as calm and smooth as it could be. We would refer them to anyone looking for a property or home. Rapidly honed in on what we were looking for, and always had available showings for us to see. Nicole and Adam were fantastic throughout the entire process. They gave great advice and helped us navigate a difficult market. After showing us a few houses, they helped us identify the type of house and neighborhood that we wanted and was best for us. It felt less like seeing homes with realtors and more like being with family / friends. We trusted them completely and in the end they put us in position to win a bid on a house we loved in the neighborhood we wanted. We could not have done this without them and are thankful we were able to work with them. Cannot recommend them enough!

Our home buying experience started in March of 2021, when inventory was extremely low, and prices were sky high. As first time home buyers, we were very inexperienced in real estate. Nicole and Adam were very patient with us. Every question, every line of contract, every term the home inspectors used, was explained in detail. Their approach is very sophisticated, yet relatable.We were able to find a beautiful home that fit our needs, wants, and most importantly: price range.
