“Parhin is an exceptional mentor!!!I'd like to share my journey towards obtaining my license, in case it might inspire others.I obtained my learner's permit in 2021 and initially enrolled with another instructor, filled with excitement despite lacking prior driving experience of any vehicle.Unfortunately, it didn't go well, leaving me feeling depressed and lack of confidence.I was completely new to road ,but instructor failed to give me guidance as a beginner.Between work and being a mother to a toddler, driving slipped from my priorities, especially after the discouraging experience with my first instructor.In 2024, as my son started preschool,it's when I started thinking about driving again.I made my mind,this time will try a new instructor and give my best!That's when I met Parhin!..From day one to road test ,she was so supportive and motivated me throughout my journey!What struck me most was her initial impression: thorough explanations of car basics and functionalities, ensuring familiarity with our neighborhood before going to road! “We used Hickory for the permit required 6 hours and again for another round of 6 hours, followed by the day of the driver’s test. Denise was a great driving instructor for my daughter. She had patience and a great sense of humor that helped my daughter feel more comfortable and confident, enough to pass her test. “We just finished with our second child at Somerset Driving School. It came highly recommended from another family. Khan is great. Very professional, very responsive. Both of our children felt at ease with him and felt that they were well prepared for the road. Our children's friends often had to wait months for their 6 hours behind the wheel. Both of our children took the permit test on their birthdays and ended up doing their first two hours right after passing the permit. “I was hopelessly trying to learn to drive AND drive in stick shift, till I got lessons here. Ash was great at pointing out every single rule that seemed silly (at first) but has helped me immensely, while I’ve been driving on my own to work now. Each lesson is packed with valuable insight, which is always a concern for me when paying for specialized “classes”. They are clearly very good teachers in this particular field, which I know is hard to find (concerning stick shift!). A++“

“They trained my son to get his permit. Safety first instructor Brian was a school teacher who provides training in summer. Such a wonderful person and my son has turned out to be very good driver. Safety first is a great school and my daughter will be now going to get her permit in a few days.“
