“I have been visiting Varnished for more than 6 months. The reason for my switch was that my previous barber (a completely different shop) would not listen to what I wanted. This is NOT the case at Varnished. Kate Farrington, my barber, is attentive, extremely competent, and a great conversationalist. “Following a series of unfortunate haircuts at larger chain shops, I scheduled an apportionment here for my very particular-about-his-mop kiddo. I’d heard nothing but amazing things about Stanley’s, and they totally lived up to the hype. It takes a special kind of person to listen to (and subsequently deliver) the hair desires of a middle schooler- and Johnnie absolutely nailed it. My son came home exclaiming “I am a NEW MAN, mom!”. In fact, he has already abandoned his desire to grow his hair out in exchange for looking forward to getting future cuts on a regular basis. 13/10 would recommend!“
