I gave it 3 stars only because I liked the NP I had. The clinic as a whole, not so much. When I tried to get an appointment as a new patient, the receptionist I spoke to wasn't pleasant (first red flag). Expect to schedule appointments after your refills unexpectedly run out. My husband is a diabetic and his meds shouldn't be held hostage like that. I've NEVER had to do this with any other PC doctor, so this feels like I am being forced to come in and pay to get my prescriptions refilled. Dr Clayton is the best Physician I have had in the 30 years I have lived in North Carolina. His office demeanor is very friendly and caring. He always has the time to fully discuss any medical issues or questions I have.

Dr. Clayton had been my doctor for years now. I moved to a Wilson but still drive to Wendell to go to this clinic. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Kind, caring and thorough. Love this office!
