“I have been here twice and had an amazing experience both times. My first appointment was with Breona. Breona is very skilled, detailed, and does an amazing job. She gave me a blowout with the most beautiful flat iron curls, and my hair was gorgeous. Today, since it was raining and will be all week, I decided just to get my hair diffused because it is naturally curly. Lisa was my stylist, and she did an amazing job diffusing my hair. My curls are soft, bouncy, and voluminous. Lisa made sure my hair had volume by lifting the roots as she diffused. Thank you, Lisa!!!! It's so nice to see my curls after weeks of wearing it straight. It's also nice that the salon and the stylists cater to a variety of hair textures, which allowed me to embrace my curls instead of getting a blowout and it being ruined by this rainy weather. Highly recommend this salon for all hair types, colors, and textures.

“I recently had a VERY bad haircut at another “high end” salon here in town.. and I was honestly very scared to get my hair cut again. So this was my first time at Salon 521, and I absolutely will NEVER go to another salon again!! Reagan was absolutely PRECIOUS and did an absolutely amazing job. Every salon I’ve been to always rushes the hair washing (the best part) and she took her time and then massaged my head after (honestly I was sold already at this point). She took her time in the cut and we had such great, natural conversation. I showed her pictures of what I was wanting and she showed me the back after and I asked her if she could make more a defined “V” in the back and she went back in and then was not afraid to bring a fellow stylist (Sara, who was also amazing) when she wasn’t achieving the look she wanted. I was blown away that she wasn’t too prideful to ask for help and advice! Instead of just guessing and giving me either 1. not what I wanted, or 2. trying it and me ending up with a terrible cut. She got to learn something new with the razor and I achieved the EXACT look I was wanting! I am honestly blown away by this salon! The owner should be SO PROUD of those girls!! I have cried manyyyy tears bc of hair cuts, but this was the first time I’ve ever cried HAPPY TEARS in a salon chair!!! So so amazed and obsessed with my hair and so happy to say I’ve FINALLY found “MY” salon.“

“I've been going to Kyla at Buffalo Hair Co for about a year. Her salon is located in Sola Salons in Cornelius, close to Total Wine and The Fresh Market. She specializes in men's hair and does a great job with my son's and wife's hair too. For men's cuts Kyla offers a hot towel, neck shave, and shampoo. She also offers a delicious beverage to put you at ease. I love chatting with her and leaving relaxed and looking great. Kyla offers online booking through her website which makes it easy to confirm or move an appointment. Her space is is larger than your typical booth at a salon with two guest chairs - great if you're bringing your spouse or kids.
