DO NOT ALLOW April to give you a mammogram! First, calls you by your last name. Second, not gentle at all! Third, very impersonal, no personality and does not smile. C’mon these are my breasts! Please allow me to yank on yours, and give you the same energy! NEVER Again! I will ask for the lady who’s been there for a long time, she’s fantastic and I should have asked for her.
Don't call if you're on the State Health Plan or Medicare. It seems they have to check if they accept either one. You also can't seem to make an appointment without a referral and there is no such thing as an urgent need to see a gynecologist. You'll be told to contact your primary care doctor or head to the ER even if you're pretty sure it's something they handle. Other option is that if you're referred to be a patient you better hope you can last about a month before they'll think about seeing you. I would give them less than a star, but it won't let me.
Superb practice! I've had two babies delivered through the Atrium providers and all of the prenatal and postpartum appointments that go with the sweet little bundles. All of the physicians and providers are excellent, and my favorites are Drs. Alvarez and Breazeale and Rachel Runkle. The nurses and staff are welcoming, the facilities are clean, and wait times are rarely longer than ten minutes. The sonographer, Allison, is great at her job, as are the phlebotomists (they are also hilarious). It's the best OB/Gyn practice I've been to. I highly recommend them.
