UNC Urgent Care at Holly Springs

This is a very convenient alternative to an ER visit if you have to go. The website should not show open until 8pm if they have a hard stop to seeing patients at 7:30. I was turned away at 7:32 but I probably wouldn't have tried driving over while in pain if it hadn't said 0 wait time & open until 8pm. The man wasn't at all pleasant about it either. He said unless I'm having a heart attack go over to Duke. So I did & the difference was stark. The staff at Duke Urgent Care were more than pleasant & faster than I'd ever been seen at UNC. My family has been seen here several times and we have always been pleased with the care we have received. I came in today and once again had a great experience. Nicole, who checked me in at the front desk, was very sweet and personable. The nurse who first saw me, Beth, was also very kind and friendly. While gathering my information she took the time to listen and ask questions and made sure that she had everything she needed. I was then seen by the PA, Dwain. He was extremely compassionate and understanding. He was very thorough and took time to explain my diagnosis and to answer all of my questions.
