Would have given five stars, loved Dr. Compton, front desk staff was just dismissive and rude. They were definitely doing you a favor taking your information. No courtesy, no good mornings, no thank yous. Just treated you like one of the herd. One woman was excitedly telling one of the receptionists about how she had a new puppy. The woman half smiled, nodded her head, and refused to engage with her. Seeing the complaints from others about the desk staff, this is pretty par for the course. Not sure why this posted saying I am in San Francisco, but this review is for the Cary, NC office on Cary Parkway.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stone now for many years and have always been pleased with his professionalism and thoroughness.On my last annual eye exam he noticed a spot on the retina of my right eye that looked suspicious and referred me to a retina specialist. To make a long story short, the spot turned out to be a choroidal melanoma. It was small and easily treated with Y90 brachytherapy radiation by the Duke Eye Center in Durham. I was told that this type of cancer can be quite aggressive and can spread to other areas of the body. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr. Stone for having caught it early.
