If you are from Winona, you likely have ancestors buried here. A beautiful area on the bluffs, lots of trees and walking paths. Great to visit in autumn. The local historical society has an event in October portraying Winona legends that are buried here.

The problem I had is that I was sent 3 records, and 2 were for the wrong people. I also got them after I made my trip, but that was my own fault for not planning earlier. I ended up not finding my ancestors' graves, but I'm not upset about it. I was able to get some other photos for the Billion Graves site which I hope will help others in the future.The cemetery is pretty big, although it does not look like it on satellite view. It's built partly on a hill and looks very picturesque. In order to find your relatives, you have to request information from the office which sends a packet in regular mail.
