I am generally happy with this Cost Cutters store, in Walmart North, Rochester, MN....BUT I had an experience that I just cannot ignore it! I am a male of 50 yr old with pretty short men-style hair (sides/back #2), went to have an adult haircut on Thursday evening and had my hair cut, may be in 3 to 4 min (!) okay, no problem. The barber was a young lady, and after haircut she asked me if I'm happy; I was kind of not sure, so said "I think it is okay, smiling, let see what my wife says". Paid not only the cost (~$19 I guess) + $4 as tip...So came home and saw it is too square sides. As I had to travel over the weekend, the night after (Friday) with a very heavy snow I went down to fix it hoping with may be one or two quick scissor moves. I can safely say it would have taken 20 seconds if she wanted, or a bit more or less. She was there and when I asked if she can do it, she simply turned me down that I need to close at 6. It was about 5:35-5:40-ish pm. I said, I came here in this big snow and can't you do anything? She just looked to my eyes and said "no I cannot do it now"...I am pretty sure that she knew I am their continuous customer, and I paid the tip the night before and the weather was awful, still she turned me down. The story seems foolish but still I cannot believe a store can treat a customer (ore any other humans) this way.... All these said, I am still happy with this salon and that is why I give 3 star, just wanted to give a feedback on one single employee who treats her fellow citizen that way. Thank you! ----------------------- This is an update to the above feedback, after my visit to the store the next day and also seeing the business owner's prompt response: I visited the store and talked with the manager today, Saturday, and she had a very professional and satisfying response to my concern. Also, I immediately got what needed to be fixed (with no charge) and how she handled the case. Mistakes happen and we should minimize them but to me, the responses to fix them are even more important and I value it. I am happy and would like to increase the rate of my feedback! Thank you!

I stopped in for a quick cut and they were able to squeeze me in right away. I was In a hurry to get to a meeting. Tina was fantastic. It was great conversation and a awesome hair cut. Thanks for getting me in. I recommend this place for a good hair cut. Fallow me for more great reviews as I travel America.
