Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy

A couple months ago my back / shoulder / arm were in so much pain. My doctor gave me a prescription for physical therapy, but the PT place by my doctor had a 3 week wait! A friend recommended Ivy in Keego, so I scheduled an appointment. Kim was amazing -- she had me try dry needling my first appointment. After that first appointment my pain went from a 9 to a 5. I can say today the pain is almost entirely gone, and Kim and the team are the reason. Before going to PT, I thought they were just gonna give me exercises. UPDATE: have been to 10 rounds of PT for my back, always leaving in more pain than I walked in. My dr wanted a repeat CT scan but insurance said I needed PT first. I walked in with a negative attitude, telling everyone I was going to talk my way into an early discharge. Jeff seen right away how negative I felt towards PT and asked me to trust his process. Although I'm not a very trusting person I decided to give him a chance and so far he has proven himself different. I have never walked out of PT pain-free till now...... my son has some back pain from sitting in school all day and Jeff has been helping him too.
