I was admitted to the head pain unit for severe chronic migraine and this was the best of the best! Definitely go here if nothing else has worked for you. Major help to me! Great staff and facility, very few minor complaints.

I have now had three experiences with Chelsea Hospital: 2012 with my elderly and very ill mother, 2015 my husband had a 3 week stay with encephalopathy, and 2016 my own 4 day stay with a ruptured & infected appendix. Here is my personal assessment of this EXCELLENT community hospital: 1. The staff is warm, friendly and caring. 2. The medical expertise of nursing and physician staff is topnotch. If additional outside consults are required ( as in the case of my husband's strange brain malfunction after an antibiotic reaction), expertise is brought in from the U of M and/or St. Joe's. 3.
