“Booking online was a breeze. The location is easy to get to, parking is ample and a dog to welcome you there is cool too! Lisa is fantastic, only one chair and she is the woman who does the magic to your hair. I have been to multiple barbershops in Frederick and do not need to keep searching any longer. My bar is high as I have had a barber in MOCO for 15+ years. Lisa did everything I have come to expect and more when getting my haircut. This was my first time going to The Barber Shack and will definitively not be the last. Expect me and my sons there for years to come. I hope to test your tough skin theory. Until the next haircut...

Dan was friendly, asked questions about the style I was looking for and let me see the progress and give feedback! “After trying many other salons and barbershops, this is the place where my teenage son finally found the haircut and fade of his dreams. Their prices are reasonable, the shop is pretty trendy, sort of industrial. And we always laugh because they don't waste time with a lot of chitchat and small talk. In the case of my son and husband, they absolutely love that they are not pulled into awkward small talk. Don't get me wrong, they are perfectly professional and polite, but it is all business. Great shop, talented barbers, definitely recommend.“

“Had my haircut by a gentleman named Stan. I was very pleased with the cut. I got a mohawk fade and a beard touchup. I was able to show him a picture of what I wanted and he matched it perfectly“

“Tina has been cutting my husband's hair since we moved here in 2013. She does a great job. She cuts his hair just the way he likes it and trims his brows just the way I like it, so everyone is happy. Her price is fair, hope she sticks around for a long time.“

“I was out for a random walk on a Saturday morning and saw this place opened at 0700 and thought why not. What a great decision. Service was great. Cut was solid. I've been back a few times since then. This will probably become my primary barber shop. Great set up and location. I look forward to being a repeat customer“

“This Sports Clips has been my spot for the last few years. I always enjoy my time in the store, feeling welcomed and engaged by the staff. Afterwards I always feel good about my haircut. Dawn in particular has been my go-to for a while and she’s excellent. In terms of products on hand, I like the Tea Tree hair and body moisturizer. In terms of services, the MVP is a fantastic option.“

“I have been going there for years. My hair needs aren't too complex but they always do a good job. Also, they seem to work well with little boys getting their first haircuts!

Stylist: I don't remember the barber's name but many of them have been there for quite a while and all do a great job.“

If you call in the morning you can usually get an appointment in the evening same day and they almost always run on time. Walk-ins welcome too.
