“Worked with Bethany Dennis pre and post op. I felt comfortable with her from the first meeting. I always felt she was extremely knowledgeable, and I always left feeling better than when I went in. She gave me exercises I could do at home and was very patient explaining them to me. I would highly recommend Megan Rich and Bethany.“
“A full suite of support for pregnancy and parenthood. The holistic package gave me access to an amazing birth doula, childbirth classes, prenatal and postnatal yoga, and a discount on the best massage I’ve ever had. It’s a gem of a business and resource.“
“I’m from out of town and took a class at BambooMoves yoga and had the most wonderful experience! My instructor, Laura, was amazing and really helped me improve and have an enjoyable, peaceful experience. I absolutely recommend!“
“This is a special place. Warm, welcoming, inspiring, and knowledgeable instructors with a variety of classes. It’s worth the drive if you aren’t local like me!“
“Pete Johnson is the coolest trainer around. Love every session. He makes it fun and I’m getting great results. The folks at Sanctuary Bodyworks are nice and the place has a great vibe.“
“This is such a great place. I had some initial trouble with my account and Melody was so amazing personally contacting me and helping me sort everything out. I take the community class. It's a great mix of gentle, deep stretching, and a nice little workout that lasts me the week. Great environment of people and community.“
“The class was very relaxing it was a good size not over crowedit went at a good pace.“
“Great experience and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the class Power Vinyasa with Marley Keller both Monday evening sessions. Challenging but mixed with period of calming and meditation.“
“Great classes that foster community, create a calm space to reflect and stretch. I always feel better after a class.“
“Dennis was someone I discovered here in Maryland. With constant struggle to find someone who not only had good massage techniques but also solid foundation on anatomy, I felt that I was under a professional's care. I've been dealing w/ chronic lower back issues since 2013 and I'm encouraged to continue sessions with him. He'll try his best to remedy your problems and his suggestions go beyond a massage table and into improving your discomfort through techniques outside of his direct care. I'm certain if you grab a session w Dennis, you'll realize you've made the right choice. I cannot stress the level of knowledge and care he offers.“
“I switched from Greater Baltimore Yoga to Yoga on York over five years ago. I go to as many Saturday morning classes as I can make it to. My favorite instructor is Jayne because of her accepting and positive attitude, the diversity in the positions and flow she guides us through, her deep knowledge of the origins of yoga, and emphasis on breathing. I particularly like the smaller class size, the pay-as-you-go system, and the workshop options offered from time to time. I've tried several other studios and this has been the best fit for me.“
“I had my first massage today. What a fantastic experience! Many thanks to Corrine, the Studio Manager, who guided me through both the initial process and the beautiful studio. This place is truly a hidden gem; quiet, serene, tranquil and tastefully decorated with local artwork. Super clean and modern, you could spend days here enjoying all of the different therapy methods. And a special thanks to Karen, my therapist. After a quick discussion about “what ailed me”, she not only diagnosed it perfectly but took most of my pain away in just one session. I’ll definitely be back for follow-ups; they now have a customer for life!
I was also able to meet Stacey and Bob. In just a few moments I could tell that this was their passion, and it felt like I was visiting a big happy family. I highly recommend Truth Mind & Body to anyone who just wants to feel better-they’ll make it happen ?“
“Let be preface this review by saying, I prioritize giving honest reviews on business that receive my hard earned money. Critiques included, I also give credit when credit is due. Based on my experiences, Zen and the City’s prices are slightly higher than you would pay compared to other chain-organizations that also offer spa services. I will share I’m confident the services you receive at this establishment are worth every dollar, including the tip. I purchased a 60 minute massage with Anthony and I can tell you right now, I wish I got the 90 minutes. Not only was his massage other-worldly, I’d beg to say it was a top competitor, if not winner of the best I’ve had in my life. Incredible is the word. Anthony provided every therapeutic technique I needed given my shared needs (I.e. part of my Swedish massage included some stretching to my shared and specified stiff and tight body areas etc.) The aesthetic of their business, the professionalism and courtesy Anthony and his colleagues exhibited, and the feelings and energy I felt as soon as I crossed the threshold of Zen and the City were unmatched. Without a doubt, I will revisit. The bar has been set. Well done!“
“Another Update: Thrilled I found this place before it opened. They encourage you to practice where your mind and body are at that moment. Approaching 500 classes and looking forward to 500 plus more. Recommend very highly.Update: Still LOVE this place. New teachers are wonderful. Highly recommend.Love this place! Teachers are excellent and the staff is amazing. Everyone is responsive and helpful. I joined before they were finished painting the walls and still enjoy attending classes. The atmosphere is encouraging and relaxed. Like the variety of levels and that there are many modifications to make a basic class harder or a harder move easier.Recommend very highly.“
“The equipment is excellent for serious bodybuilding. It is far superior to what you find at Planet Fitness. It's a gym, not a resort, which is a big deal for people who don't know the difference. It is well organized, and the equipment is properly spaced, so you don't feel cramped in. The free-weight area is great. It's a big plus if you like handling heavy weights or want to follow your own natural path of motion. If you're an older person and remember the atmosphere in gyms from the 70s and 80s, you'll be right at home. Don't buy into the negative comments. They come from people with limited experience using exercise equipment or training with weights. The cost is very reasonable considering what you get in return, and the management is very friendly.“
“95% of the equipment works. Clean and kept up nicely. Has a pool, hot tub, and sauna.“
“This is one of the newer faculties. It is still nice with working equipment. As many of the newer faculties there is no basketball court or sauna. Not sure why they’re doing away with those items but the space is a nice size and it very bright and open.“
“Breanne went above and beyond to investigate my 40 year old membership that hasn't been used in years. She worked to get it reinstated at the Towson, MD location. She is awesome! Also, Ray explained all of the option and did a great job getting my son signed up.“
“It's definitely a great studio. I thought I'd be intimidated, but that went away quickly.“
