Mt. Vernon Body Art is a great place to get tattooed. The shop is conveniently located close to 83, extremely clean, and has a punk/neogoth/hip-hop/anarchist vibe. Real kitsch and artsy. Clay was a excellent artist to work with. He totally understood the concept I was going for and able to incorporate all three elements in my tattoo. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone that wants quality work.

I originally came here back in January for my nose piercing with Matt. I was really nervous but he was super sweet, informative on the entire process and I was and still am super pleased with the result. From then, I was interested in coming back to get a tattoo with Clay. I had my consultation 6/15 and then had my appointment yesterday 8/31. Clay SURPASSED anything I’d imagined for my tattoo and I’m so in love with it. He’s super chill, kind, funny, and just made my experience the best.
