Went to visit Dr. Jessica Awerman for a second time (unknowingly) and again what a disappointment. The first time I visited for bruise like marks and hyperpigmentation. She recommended I visit a dermatologist in Boston that specializes in skin for people of color when she didn’t see anything wrong besides hyperpigmentation. I visited another dermatologist outside the country who was able to explain the likely root cause and how to prevent further hyperpigmentation. She then suggested I come back to “teach her what I learned” as though it is not her responsibility to educate herself on skin issues. I was lucky enough to have Jessica Awerman as my Dermatologist. I have referred so many of my friends here. It is hard to find a doctor that really gives you the attention when you are there. She also checked in me about other services that she can help me with.The office was super nice and it was just an all-around great experience.

This practice makes you use their patient portal, then they don't respond to emails to the doctor. Constantly cancelling and rescheduling appointments, sometimes without notice. If it wasn't so hard to get an appointment with a dermatologist elsewhere I would leave the practice.
