Creative Steps Dance Studio

Creative Steps Dance Studio is a locally owned dance studio located on the second floor of the Boys & Girls Club of Newton. Since 2004, it has provided a low-key, fun, positive, and family-friendly atmosphere for children and teenagers to dance. The studio offers a variety of classes for ages two and up, including hip-hop, tap, jazz, tumbling, contemporary, and boys-only groups. Miss Michelle, the owner, is certified through the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the Dance Educators of America. The studio is known for its inclusivity, welcoming environment, and support for all students, including LGBTQ teens. With a focus on dance rather than competition, Creative Steps hosts optional events like a Nutcracker show in December and a year-end recital in June. Parents appreciate the flexible schedule and the friendships their children form, making Creative Steps Dance Studio a second home for many young dancers.
