Volmer is terrific!!He pays great attention to detail and always asks you for your preference. His store has a very nice vibe to it with all the plants! Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new barber.

Hands down the best barber in Allston. I have been coming here for two years - I don't have an easy haircut and have always had a hard time finding dependable barbers. Volmmer is incredibly friendly, cuts quickly, always washes your hair at the end and has the BEST decor in the shop. I always walk out of here feeling confident and fresh. Highly recommend!!!

In short: the vibes are impeccable.Volmmer is a true artisan. His salon is totally domestic yet still professional, which makes it truly relaxing. He was able to take my layman requests for my hair and gave me a haircut that completely reinvigorated my self esteem.
