I've been looking for my go-to salon since moving to Boston years ago, and I finally found it! Alex was super helpful and knowledgeable, took the time to listen to what I wanted, gave me great tips on how to style my wavy hair so it doesn't get frizzy, and cut my hair to compliment my face shape. The price was also very affordable considering women's haircuts in the area usually cost $75+.

I’ve been to this salon twice and the hairstylists have been kind and relaxed. The pricing is reasonable and I’ve had great haircuts both times. I highly recommend them!Services: Haircut

I’ve visited salons and barbershops across Boston looking for the elusive they/them friendly haircut experience where I didn’t have to explain gender theory in order to get my sides tapered. After my experience with Alex today, I’m glad to say my search has come to an end! Alex was attentive, friendly, and absolutely nailed the cut I was looking for. If you’re queer and looking for a versatile stylist in the downtown area I’d definitely recommend giving Koukla a try.Service: Haircut
