The price was also very affordable considering women's haircuts in the area usually cost $75+.“

“Clare was brilliant. Not only did she manage to see me last minute, but she also came in early to accommodate my schedule. She was warm and friendly from the get go, and really engaging throughout the appointment. I loved getting to know her and having chitchat. My hair treatment was a bright balayage and it looks great. Perfect all around. We talked through gloss options and ultimately agreed that what she knew was best as the professional and she was right! I even had my 3 month old baby attend the appointment and Clare was great with her. Allowing me to breastfeed on demand and keep her close when she needed fun/comfort. Of course also giving all the compliments of what a gorgeous girl she is and how peaceful she was. 10/10 will see her again. Loved my appointment.“

I was there two months ago to get a clean up cut from Grace after I decided one morning to casually trim my own hair because my 3 year old told me to. No regrets. But very much needed Grace to save the day and clean it up.The salon is gorgeous. The staff is amazing and friendly. Grace is excellent company to chat with about everything- but I already knew this as we’ve met before. I’m a deep conversationalist so this is totally my jam.I instantly felt welcomed and pampered there. I highly recommend you check out the salon if you’re looking for a relaxing hair cut or color.“

While I appreciate that she makes me look my best, she is also interesting to talk to and has amazing insight. Monika also specializes in bridal hair which is why we choose her to style my daughter’s wedding party in Kennebunkport. She styled the bride, 9 bridesmaids and 2 moms with grace and expertise. She made everyone look beautiful and their hair stayed beautiful in the wind overlooking the sea and at night dancing in the tent. Now that’s talent! Mario Russo is lucky to have someone with Monika’s talents.“

“I cannot recommend a hair stylist more! I have nothing but nice things to say about Sahara. She has been doing my hair for almost 4 year now and I really feel like I am part of her family. I have very difficult, curly hair and Keratin does not work on my hair. A few years ago Sahara recommended the ProAddiction treatment and my hair has never looked better. It lasts for months and is finally the naturally wavy look I want! In addition, her color is amazing. I can go an entire year with a balayage color and it will always look flawless. If you can get an appointment (she is a hot ticket), you must go to Sahara. She really is one of a kind.“
