“I requested an estimate for a new roof because I saw several small spots on one of my bedroom ceilings and thought I had a leak. Brian came and inspected the spots and entire roof. He told me the spots were very old and that my roof was in good shape with the exception of a few raised nails that we could silicone and hammer down ourselves. He could have tried to sell us a new roof or charge us $500 for the minimal repairs, but instead, he was honest and helped us save money by doing the work ourselves. I am very grateful and appreciative. Also, when it is time to replace the roof, Brian will be the person I call!“

“Exceptional quality, craftsmanship, service, professionalism, and value. Unlike any roofing company you've ever dealt with. They just completed a replacement slate mansard roof for my 1920s NW DC townhouse with excellent results, went way beyond my expectations. I was a slater/roofer in college so I know the trade and was frustrated by the outrageous prices from other companies and their lack of expertise. Found Durable in the Slate Roofing Contractors Association directory, saw they specialized in high end slate, tile and copper. Within days Edwin showed up on time for a site visit, had a very open discussion about materials costs, slate options, etc. Days later had a proposal at nearly half the price of the other companies. Kevin kept me updated on scheduling. Neighbor was heartbroken to learn he paid more for a poor quality asphalt shingle job than I paid for slate and copper! Crew chief Chris and his team Max and Jorgito were meticulous craftsmen with Chris discussing every step of the job with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Crew cleaned up every day leaving the job site spotless (wife appreciated that). Chris made several suggestions to improve the install especially around a very tricky dormer which turned out to be spot on from a functional and architectural standpoint. Job turned out great, copper work gleams, joints beautifully soldered, and slate is laid out perfectly, precisely set and balanced. And on the final day a Durable quality control inspector reviewed the work to confirm I was pleased with the results. If you need slate, tile or copper work done this is the company!“
“Brandon was easy to work with, professional, and responsive to any questions, issues, concerns, and processes. The pricing was reasonable (not cheapest) but for the quality I think it was worth while.The work crews did great preparations to try to minimize dust and mess. The work is high quality. The customer service, especially Brandon the project manager, was top notch. Any concerns were addressed and taken care of to my satisfaction.My only slightly negative experience was the time frame. My expectation was one period of time based on conversation during the estimate but the work took much longer.While inconvenient, I would still recommend Castillo for future projects. I do feel the good outweighs the minor inconvenience of time.“

“We have used other roofing contractors before but chose to hire this one that was referred to us and we are so thankful! He was doing some other roofs in our neighborhood that were damaged from a bad storm. Marvin worked with our insurance company and made every step so easy. The large team he sent out was so professional, quick, and thorough! There was not a piece of trash or a nail left when they finished. We have a 3,000 square foot home with a lot of steep slopes. They were done in 2 days. Very high quality materials. He found some mistakes that the insurance adjuster had made and some things that were left off of the estimate and got those taken care of also. “We used Infinite Construction after Hurricane Ida. Shawn came out immediately to assess our roof damage and even hung out 45 minutes to wait for the insurance adjuster to arrive so he could do the walk through with him and point out all the damage and show him why we needed a whole new roof. We did get a new roof and we were one of the first ones in our neighborhood to get ours. The roof was done in one day and they did a great job. They were quick to respond, got the job done right and went above and beyond to help us get the roof approved by the insurance company.
