We had issues with several parts on our furnace that also "controlled" our AC. Our unit was 10 years old and had issues that required service calls and expensive replacement parts at least 5 times in those 10 years. We found out about A&H through a relative, and decided to call them for help since we were so dissatisfied with the company we bought our original unit from. The technicians came and replaced the furnace part of our units, and for a while it sort of worked, but once they did that install, they found issues with the AC part that weren't evident before the new furnace was installed. Our AC unit over 20 years old finally gave out on a Thursday. A&H came out on Friday, ordered a new unit and gave us two window AC units to get us by over the weekend. We were up a running by Tuesday afternoon. I've used A&H for years and will not call anyone else. True customer service. Extremely reasonable.
Our AC went out Thursday night. They were able to come out 9:30 the next morning (Friday). The compressor was bad (need a new unit). They tried a hard start kit to try and revive the compressor and maybe nurse it through the season. It didn't work, so they removed it and didn't charge me for it. The tech had two room ACs and left them for us until we could get the system replaced. They got the parts in the following Wednesday and were able to install the new AC and furnace on the following Friday. The techs were courteous, showed up when scheduled and finished the job before 4 PM. The new system works great!
