“We have gone to NCAH for 42 years, even after we moved out of the neighborhood in Chicago. Now, we have relocated to Arizona, so we need to use another vet. We were well served in our 42 years, with 5 cats and 4 dogs, with compassionate and expert care. We celebrated new kittens and puppies with their initial exams, and sadly said goodbye to some beloved companions with the loving care of these wonderful doctors. While we loved all the vets, we especially want to point to Dr. Castillo and Dr. Locher, who were always there for us. We do not expect to replicate this care in Arizona, we want to commend this practice as having the highest possible standards for the care of our loving pets. Barb and Jon Brightman“

“The staff have gone above and beyond for me and my animals. I just moved to Evanston last year in 2023 and found them. They took on my three geriatric pets (2 cats, 1 dog). With 1 cat having renal disease and the other being diagnosed with cardiac disease not long after Fox started caring for them. In the haft a year that we have been going to Fox Animal Hospital I have felt welcome and always left fully informed of my pets care. “Dr. Rossman and his team are the best out there. They took care of our beloved dog Diesel while he was well and when he was sick with lymphoma. You could not ask for better, more compassionate care. Dr. Rossman would always see us on a very short notice, even same day when he was fully booked. Last time Diesel needed a shot and was too weak to walk, he came out to our car to take care of him. Thank you everyone for being so welcoming and supporting every time we went there, Diesel loved you!“

“Dr. Lim and Megan are so knowledgeable and caring with my 15 year old minpin. They gave me a few different options with estimates for my dog's cataracts and glaucoma. I've had 4 different visits with them and they have all been helpful for my difficult situation. Tim has been a Rockstar and totally made my last visit the best! “Dr. Young and his staff are the greatest! He has been my dog’s vet for over one year and thoroughly checks him during each visit. He always gets some sort of sickness and the doctor heals him right away! Whether it’s his allergies or a virus, Dr. Young will explain a step by step process of what I need to do! This clinic is the best!! Highly recommend!“

“Higgins has been taking care of my dog since I moved to Chicago about 10 years ago. One thing that is consistent about Higgins is the care is consistent. I know what to expect at his yearly check ins, things to be cognizant of as my guy gets a bit older. One of the things I appreciate most though is if I have an urgent question or concern, the staff will happily talk to me over the phone and advise if I should bring my dog in or treat with home remedy. My only "negative" is the cost of care tends to be a bit steep but at the same time, I know my dog is being well taken care of. I'd recommend the Higgins animal clinic team.“

“Absolutely phenomenal. I found a senior stray cat, Popcorn, last year with some health problems -- I couldn't find a vet to take her on but Pets First moved everything to help her. She was 13/14 when I got her and we only had a year together. We were pretty frequent guests, and every single person we interacted with on staff was kind, knowledgable, and was enamored by the animals they worked with. My budget was limited and they were respectful of costs--they even waived the cost of some x-rays when they were concerned about her hip and knew I didn't have the means to cover the full workup. When it was time to say goodbye to Popcorn last week, the entire team at Pets First was so empathetic and compassionate. Popcorn was treated with so much love, and they gave me that same care as they helped me through the experience of letting her go. All of the vets have been spectacular, and they do a good job of coordinating care if a pet is seen by multiple different vets within the practice. I feel great about literally everyone there—vets, techs, lab personnel, reception, etc.—they're all fantastic!Our dogs have dealt with a variety of issues, ranging from hip dysplasia & arthritis to pancreatitis to blastomycosis to travel-related anxiety. The Berglund team has been spectacular in treating everything, as well as in referring out to specialists as needed. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, accessible, and dedicated.
