“I have to keep this short before I start bawling again but wanted to give a huge recommendation for this place as an ER because a few days ago my husband and I had that nightmare, the one every single person reading this dreads, when one of our beloved cats died very suddenly, as in one minute the cat who had not been sick at all was playing and fine and the next he'd frozen up into some kind of siezure and stopped breathing in a matter of seconds. Terrified and in shock I googled ER vet near me and thank God I got this place, calling them while running to the car with our cat. We lost him, yes, to an apparent heart attack, but the kindness and care and steadfast feeling this clinic gave us when we needed it most has won them our loyalty and I'm grateful to everyone on staff that night for taking care of us, and of Captain Larry.“

“We were referred to Eola Point last year after rescuing our dog. They were incredibly patient, kind, and so helpful in navigating pet ownership to a new dog with fear aggression issues. I was nervous for our first visit since I didn't know how exactly our new dog would react to the environment. Even before our visit, the front staff was very thorough on the phone and listened to all of my concerns. Of course safety is top priority- but it really stood out to me that they didn't even know us yet and they took the time to get to know us and our situation. When we explained our experiences thus far in our initial visit, I left feeling truly heard and I knew we found a vet that is treating both the pets and people with compassion and respect! 8 months later, we continue our care here because they have remained exactly who they are since our first steps in. Friendly, kind, personable, caring, intelligent- very thankful to have Eola Point as our vet! Bonus points: they were well prepared for the aggression our dog showed at his first visit. “My 7 month old puppy started randomly throwing up & (what seemed to be) choking. I called my regular vet & they pretty much told me not our problem, take him to an emergency vet -- all closest emergency vets are within 20 minutes to a half an hour from me. Which is not feasible when you have a choking animal. I called Bowes animal hospital in a complete panic and they were able to get him in right away, even though he was not a client of theirs. The staff was extremely compassionate & understanding as i apologized for being such a mess on the phone. The doctor was beyond flexible and honest - which is hard to come by. He even offered to do an additional xray free of charge the following day if we did not have to take him to a specialty emergency vet for an endoscopy. We did end up having to take him to the emergency vet to have the endoscopy done that night, the doctor called the emergency vet and spoke with the doctor while we were on our way there, & made sure to have someone call us in the morning to check on my puppy - which my own vet did not even do. I cannot express how grateful we are for this doctor & his staff & very easily have made the decision that this is the vet we will continue to use for our 3 dogs.“

“This practice group of Dr Miller and his residents took excellent care of my dog's corneal ulcer. Dr Miller took his time explaining her injury and the treatment options. I followed his recommendation of surgery which was done the same day. One month later and two follow up visits my dog has made an excellent recovery. I highly recommend this veterinary ophthalmology practice.“

“They really take care of your pet like it's their own. My puppy was nervous and ever since she's made friends with the techs and people there she loves it.“

“I have been coming to this Vet since 2016. They are amazing and so kind to all my animals!2021-2023 they helped me with my pet rat Croissant fight a respiratory disease and removed her tumor in order to give her the longest and healthiest life possible. When she passed they were so kind to send a card with their condolences.Recently I had to take my newest rat Sesame in for tumor removal surgery and once again they did a fantastic job! Sesame is currently healing and is acting like herself. I am so happy to have this trusted vet clinic in my area and I will continue to bring all my animals to this location.“

“This is my NEW vet! My dog needed a bladder stone surgery and not only was the cost WAY below what other vets were charging in the area ($2000 LESS), but my baby girl was treated SO well! They followed up for a wellness check, as well as telling me what kind of stone it was, and recommended she be put on a special dog food. They ordered it for me and I arranged for a repeat order so I'm never without it. The office is SO caring and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this vet to ANYONE in the Elgin/Bartlett, Schaumburg area!“

“We have brought both our dogs and cat to Millbrook. They treat your pets with care and respect, and the owners too. Even a recent emergency was handled well, as our dog cut his ear bad enough to create considerable bleeding. The doctor stitched him up with minimum sedation, and the support staff helped calm down our sometimes reactive pet through both the examination and recovery. Our pup wound up wearing a wrap to keep his injured ear from getting worse, and it's all worked out. The price for these services was quite fair. I recommend this clinic quite highly.“
