I discovered the Drapery Center in 1984 from a recommendation from a relative of a relative through marriage. I got tired of inexpensive ready-made window coverings from a national retailer that is no longer in business. My first purchase was a pair of lined draperies for my bedroom that I had for several years. I've moved at least 5 times since the first pair of draperies! In 2019, I purchased a home that had very large windows in every room and all covered with vertical blinds. It's taken a couple of years but all the verticals are gone and have been replace with Drapery Center purchases. If you don't want draperies, you can order any sort of blind you can imagine. Lowell knows window treatments well and has great suggestions if you have trouble making up your mind. When your window coverings are installed, they will fit right the first time every time. I did compare prices with another drapery store in the past and the Drapery Center was a much better value. Don't be fooled and try ordering custom shades over the internet. Yes, they will make them to the size you order, but the quality won't come close to what you will receive from the Drapery Center.

Doing business with Drapery Center was seamless from visiting the showroom, to having measurements done and the order placed, to installation. I am so pleased with the look of my new roller shades.
