I made a present for myself to visit this place for my birthday. My appointment had to be postponed due to severe frost and I really appreciate that they called me and offered to move it to a convenient date. Also, over the phone, I was able to choose a more appropriate service than the one I chose at the beginning. I was offered a Swedish massage for 60 minutes and a facial procedure. How glad I am that I ended up here! Agnieszka was my massage therapist and Stephanie was my facialist. Both masters are professionals in their field and I am extremely happy to get such experience in the treasury of pleasant procedures! I am glad to know this place and I am sure that when I need to feel good in professional hands again - I will definitely come back here again! Thank you very much!
Mane Event will be your final destination salon. Pasqua, the owner, knows hair like no other. She is incredibly skilled and GIFTED; I would confidently call her the mayor of hair for the Chicagoland area. Way too often, us ladies/gents go to salons where they look at us like a paycheck and do not care about the integrity of the client and/or giving us a quality service. Posh is a wild card when it comes to the beauty industry. Her expertise and eye for hair should cost thousands but her prices are so fair and reasonable. I found my hair dresser for life!!Before I went here, my hair was falling out like crazy after highlights and bleaching! Now, my hair is growing and healthier than it’s been in years. That is because no matter who you’re getting your hair done by (Esterina and Jessica are amazing!) Posh will oversee and make sure you’re getting the absolute best service. Posh is truly an artist when it comes to the beauty and health of your hair. This salon uses only the highest quality products.This salon is a hidden gem that everyone should know about. It also helps to know you are going to a salon with passionate and kind people. I only see Posh and Jessica but they GENUINELY care about you as a client and make you feel comfortable instantly. My husband gets his hair cuts here, my two toddlers get their haircut here, my mom goes here ritually, my bestie goes here, and I literally tell coworkers and strangers about Mane Event when I get compliments on my hair.I’m not one to leave reviews but please trust me and go here for any of your hair needs. They do it all! You’ll thank me later. ?

Dr. Szczerba is a very talented plastic surgeon with an awesome bedside manner. Meeting him and learning about his process has been life changing. He has an abundance of knowledge and experience. I know this from my own personal experience, as well as from my husband who works in the medical field. My husband has observed and worked with many plastic surgeons from across the Midwest for over 20 years and highly recommends Dr. Szczerba. He is an artist and is very concerned about all aspects of his work, including making his patients feel comfortable. The office staff is amazing as well. From the nurses to the women at the front desk, everyone is always helpful and friendly. This is why when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I knew Dr. Szczerba would be the one to perform my reconstruction surgeries.Because I was so happy with the outcome from my reconstruction, I decided to have a tummy tuck and lipo a year later. I waited for 15 years after three c-sections to make this decision. I wasn’t at my ideal weight, which would have given me even better results, but I realized that may never happen and life was passing me by. My body and appearance affected everything and I missed out on a lot of experiences and photo opportunities waiting to lose weight. After having a discussion with one of the nurses and then Dr. Szczerba, I decided it was time. Best decision I ever made! I felt he went above and beyond expectations in office visits as well as the actual surgery. We discussed all aspects beforehand and I felt very comfortable with what the surgery day would entail as well as the recovery. I could call him anytime 24/7 with any concerns I was having after the procedure. The nurses were great before and after surgery and I felt very prepared for the recovery.I will say again that this has been life changing for me. The results of this surgery have given me the confidence to do so many things I haven’t done in years. I am now more motivated than ever to continue down a healthier path. Even though I am still not at the ideal weight, I have gone down at least two sizes in clothing and feel so much better about myself. I cannot recommend Dr. Szczerba and his staff enough. I wish I had made this decision sooner!
