My child is on the spectrum. At first I was skeptical on putting her in a class full of neurotypicals because I wasn’t sure if she would keep up with them or would have hard time listening and following instructions. But I decided to give it a chance. With the instructor she had. She was so understanding of her needs and helped her needs get met in the most loving and fun way Possible. She made her feel comfortable for her to become a dancing queen!! She has now braked barriers that she hasn’t got the chance to before this academy. Overall, everyone there is kind and supportive. Wish has been a wonderful studio for my girls (who happen to have a six year age gap). Ms. Carly and all of the instructors create a nurturing environment that is inclusive of having fun while learning appropriate dance technique. I love how they accommodate all of the dancers by making time for individual needs. I had switched to here because my older daughter kept falling through the cracks at her previous studio; she wasn't being helped enough in favor of girls who were on the competition teams. The best of the best. Kids feel valued and each get attention. Teachers are wonderful and welcoming. Beautiful theming of the studio makes it exciting for the kids to dance here. Recitals have been beautiful with lovely choices of costuming that are age appropriate and flattering to all body types. There is a beautiful holiday Nutcracker recital in December and Spring recital. Great, diverse choice of classes. My kids have taken Latin, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Poms and there's more. Beautiful Baile Folklorico.
