Our 1st language is BABARA, our 2nd language is FRENCH, our 3rd is ENGLISH.Because of our dialect, when we communicate with our customers who ONLY speak English, sometimes the language barrier can be challenging in relation to: understanding a certain request for a hairstyle, or when it is time to discuss your payment transactions. When myself and my staff are talking, we feel most comfortable communicating in our 1st language of BABARA or FRENCH. I haven’t been here in years, my last experience with them was when I asked for blue Senegalese twists like 3 years ago and it wasn’t the greatest, but overall I know they do good work. That was just one bad experience out of the many good ones that I’ve had with them. I will be back soon for butterfly locs over my real locs ❤️Service: Braids

Hello, I would like to say Askia Hair Braiding, in Oak Park, is awesome. The reason I now is because I’ve been getting my hair braid, twisted, basket weaved etc.. since 2004. The owner, is such a nice and friendly person that she feels like family. I remember 1st day I came to the shop, her little boy was there and she was pregnant with her1st daughter and now, her son has graduated from college which shows dedication & loyalty in good quality of work. Askia hair braiding shows consideration and caring to their customers hair needs.
