Lee's Taekwondo in Gurnee is hands down the best martial arts school in NorthShore! My family and I have been attending classes here, and it's been an exceptional experience. The instruction, especially the incredible Rocio lines for kids and families, is top-notch.Not only have I seen significant improvements in my self-defense skills, but I also shed 25 pounds in just 2 months! Lee's Taekwondo is the ultimate destination for families and individuals seeking self-defense training or fitness goals. I can't recommend it highly enough. It truly deserves five stars for its dedication to students' growth and well-being!"

Let me start off , This place is one of few places your child will get of a real authentic hard working experience with legitimate qualified Masters in the area. This place will have your kids EARN there belts at the same time learn respect for one another and there parents. If your one of those parents that THINK this place is musty or no air conditioning for your baby then this is not the place for you, guess what, that's the smell of hard work ,real sweat from hard work toward there belts.

So far , my daughter has loved it here!We started off getting a Groupon for 10 sessions , just so she could try it out and now my daughter got her yellow belt and is even more motivated to rank up! Mr. Elton and Mr. Lee are amazing teachers!!!

From Lee's Tae Kwon Do

We are a martial arts studio for all ages and skill levels that specializes in Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do. Often compared to Karate, Tae Kwon Do is a non-aggressive form of martial arts emphasizes self-defense, agility and speed, as well as discipline, along with mental and physical wellness. Hap Ki Do is a self-defense that, like Tae Kwon Do, originated in Korea, and similar to Jujitsu. This is a hybrid martial art form that involves joint manipulation, grappling, and defense against assailants with weapons. Our studio offers individual instruction, group classes, kids' classes, and more! We provide class options both with and without sparing are available depending on each visitor's individual comfort level.
